- Columbia Opportunities
- The Daisies, Brownies and Girl Scouts
Crosswinds honored by the Van Winkle Tobacco-Free Coalition of Columbia and Greene Counties
Smoke-free properties protect everyone from exposure to secondhand smoke, are cleaner, and safer from fire hazards. Seven buildings representing 75% of the units at Crosswinds are entirely smoke-free. These units are among the most sought after in Columbia County and are especially desirable to families with children or persons with allergies.
In 2008 the Rip Van Winkle Tobacco-Free Coalition of Columbia and Greene Counties honored Crosswinds at Hudson for Leadership in the Development of Smoke-free Workforce Housing. The Smoke Free Housing Award was presented to Bruce Levine at the Coalition’s annual banquet. For additional information about smoke-free housing, visit their website.
